He described the way Mor Yacoub fought against heresies and traveled to different places to support the faithful despite the persecutions against him. His Holiness explained also about the date of the celebration of Easter that it is not a matter of doctrines; rather it is a matter of adopting a corrected calendar in all our ecclesiastical feasts. He emphasized that this does not contradict the teachings of the church or any synodical decisions.
At the end of his sermon, His Holiness congratulated the sisters of Mor Yacoub Baradeus convent on the occasion of the Feast of their patron saint. He prayed the teshmeshto of the saints seeking the intercession of the Saint for the church and her children.
