On July 13, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited the headquarters of the Salt of the Earth in Homs.

His Holiness was accompanied by His Excellency Mr. Bassam, Governor of Homs, General Abdo Karam, Head of the Police of Homs, and their Eminences: Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary.
