On July 13, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II inspected the restoration work executed by the Patriarchate through the collaboration with Hungary Help to restore some houses in Old Homs.
His Excellency Mr. Bassam, Governor of Homs and General Abdo Karam, Head of the Police of Homs, accompanied His Holiness along with their Eminences: Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary.
