‎‏ On September 17, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II participated in the Holy Qurobo celebrated by His Beatitude Mor Ignatius Youssef III Younan, Patriarch of Antioch for the Syriac Catholic Church, at the Lady of Deliverance Church in Charfet, Lebanon, on the occasion of his Golden Priesthood and Silver Episcopal Jubilee.His Holiness was accompanied by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Theophilus Georges Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, Mor Severius Roger Akhrass, Patriarchal Vicar for Syriac Studies, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director. Their Beatitudes: Maronite Patriarch Cardinal Mar Bechara Boutros Al-Raii, Greek Catholic Melkite Patriarch of Antioch and All the East, Alexandria and Jerusalem, Joseph Absi, and His Excellency Mgr. Joseph Spiteri, Apostolic Nuncio in Lebanon, as well as their Eminences Archbishops of sister churches also attended.At the end of the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness delivered words of congratulations to His Beatitude, recalling the days of their service together in the USA when they were bishops, and how they always sought to meet the needs of new immigrants from our people. He wished him good health, progress and prosperity in his ministry. His Holiness presented His Beatitude with a cross as a token of appreciation on the occasion of his jubilee.
