On September 19, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II presided over the celebrations of the Silver Episcopal Jubilee of His Eminence Mor Dioscorus Benjamin Atas, Patriarchal Vicar in Sweden.‏His Holiness was accompanied by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Dionysius Issa Gurbuz, Patriarchal Vicar in Switzerland and Austria, Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Julius Hanna Aydin, Director of the Foreign Relations in Germany, Mor Polycarpus Augin Aydin, Patriarchal Vicar in Holland, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.His Eminence Lars Anders Cardinal Arborelius, Catholic Archbishop of Stockholm, and other representatives from our Churches also attended. They expressed their love and appreciation of His Eminence, wishing him a long life full of blessings and spiritual grace. ‏According to the program, their Eminences congratulated His Eminence in their names and the names of their Archdioceses. They wished him a long life and a prosperous ministry. ‏At the end of the celebration, His Holiness congratulated His Eminence and spoke about the cross of ministry that we carry which brings forth joyful fruits. The spiritual yield of the ministry is the love of the peope and their spiritual growth of the faithful and their love for the church.
