Holy Qurobo at St. Matta Church in Nantes

On October 30, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Matta Church in Nantes, France.He was assisted by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor George Kourieh, Patriarchal Vicar in Belgium, France and Luxembourg, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.In his sermon, His Holiness spoke about the consecration of the church and its renewal, which is completed by answering the call of our Lord Jesus Christ to us to be faithful and that our faith is built on the rock of Peter’s faith. His Holiness added that the world does not simply accept the Lord’s incarnation because it is against the laws of this world; however, the faithful can accept these facts without doubt or questioning because his heart is open to all, and his faith is based on love.
