Consecration of Mor Jacoub of Saroug Altar – Warburg

On November 27, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II consecrated the altar of Mor Jacob of Saroug at Mor Jacob of Saroug Monastery in Warburg.During the consecration, His Holiness was assisted by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Philoxenus Mattias Nayis, Patriarchal Vicar in Germany, Mor Gregorius Joseph, Metropolitan of Cochin and Metropolitan Trustee of the Syriac Orthodox Church in India, Mor Dionysius Issa Gurbuz, Patriarchal Vicar in Switzerland and Austria, Mor Philoxenus Saliba Ozmen, Archbishop of Mardin and Diyarbakir. At the end of the consecration, His Holiness bestowed a pectoral cross for Rev. Raban Cyrillos Masoudi as a token of appreciaton for his ministry and service.
