On December 2, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received the priests who participated in the workshop of the Program “Channels of Hope for Child Protection”, organized by EPDC, at the Patriarchate building in Bab Touma in Damascus.The meeting was attended by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Assistant and Patriarchal Delegate of the Archdiocese of Aleppo and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director as well as Mr. Roy Mousally, Executive Director of EPDC.During the meeting, His Holiness welcomed the priests and spoke about the role of the church in protecting the children from violence and abuse. He also listened to their experiences following their participation in the workshop.
