On December 7, 2021, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Greek Orthodox Archbishop of Aleppo, Iskenderun and Environs, Aphrem Maalouli, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma, Damascus.The meeting was attended by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Anthimos Jack Yakoub, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education, Mor Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Assistant and Patriarchal Delegate for the Archdiocese of Aleppo and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.During the meeting, His Holiness congratulated His Excellency on the new appointment and wished him success in his new mission.
