On February 22, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency the Ambassador of Romania in Syria Mr. Daniel Sandovici, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma, Damascus. Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Boutros Kassis, Patriarchal Assistant and Patriarchal Delegate of the Archdiocese of Aleppo and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, were also present.During the meeting, His Holiness and His Excellency discussed the current situation in Syria and the effects of the the economic crisis on the lives of the people.
