On April 25, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Ambassador Mr. Peter Csulak, Charge d’Affaires of Hungary in Syria, at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma – Damascus.The meeting was attended by his Eminence Archbishop Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.During the meeting, His Excellency presented to His Holiness a letter from His Excellency Prime Minister of Hungary Mr. Viktor Orban in which he expresses his appreciation of the role of His Holiness and assures that Hungary will continue to support the Christians in the Middle East. His Excellency also offered his greetings on the occasion of the feast of Resurrection.
