On May 20, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II arrived St. Mary Church in Cairo.He was received by His Eminence Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs and Interim Patriarchal Vicar in Egypt, Very Rev. Raban Philipos Issa, Parish Priest and the faithful of the parish.His Holiness was accompanied by their Eminences: Mor Theophilus George Saliba, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop of Mosul, Kirkuk, Kurdistan and Environs, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
