On May 14, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II participated in the national ceremony for the installation of Her Excellency Mrs. Katalin Novak, President of Hungary, at the Parliament Square (Kossuth Lajos) in Budapest.His Excellency Prime Ministry of Hungary Mr. Viktor Orban, as well as ministers, parliamantarians and religious leaders also attended the ceremony. His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Officr Director. His Holiness also met Her Excellency and congratulated her on the occasion.
