‏On May 10, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Jawdat Najjar, Head of the Department of Religious and Ethnic Affairs at the Office of President Barazani, in the presence of His Excellency Mr. Ano Jawhar Abdoka, Minister of Public Transportation and Communications in the Kurdistan Regional Government, and Mr. Khalid Talia, General Director of the Christian Affairs in the Ministry of Endowments, at the Archdiocese Center in Erbil.The meeting was attended by their Eminences: Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop of Mosul, Kirkuk, Kurdistan and Environs, Mor Timotheos Moussa Al-Shamani, Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Mor Matta Monastery, Mor Yacoub Babawi, Patriarchal Vicar for the Affairs of Monks and the Administration of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
