On May 10, 2022, ‏His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Ahmad Ibrahim Al-Zahiri, General Consul of UAE in Erbil, at the Archdiocese Center in Erbil.The meeting was attended by their Eminences: Mor Nicodemus Daoud Sharaf, Archbishop of Mosul, Kirkuk, Kurdistan and Environs, Mor Yacoub Babawi, Patriarchal Vicar for the Affairs of Monks and the Administration of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
