On May 12, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited His Excellency Mr. Viktor Orban, Prime Minister of Hungary, at his official residence in Budapest.His Excellency Bishop Zoltan Balog, President of the Reformed Church of Hungary, and his Eminence Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, accompanied His Holiness.During the meeting, His Holiness congratulated His Excellency in person on the victory of his party in the parliamentarian elections and thanked the government and people of Hungary for their constant support of Christians in the Middle East.
