On June 22, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Excellency Mr. Antoine Laham, Assistant to the Special UN Envoy to Syria Mr. Geir Pedersen and delegated by him to visit His Holiness, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh, Lebanon.
Mr. Laham conveyed the greetings of His Excellency Mr. Pedersen. He discussed with His Holiness the current situation and developments in Syria and the region.
The meeting was attended by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director.
