On December 27, 2022, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received His Eminence Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, accompanied by Very Rev. Fr. Paul Kouli and his family, at the Patriarchal Residence in Atchaneh – Lebanon.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Severus Roger Akhrass, Patriarchal Vicar for Syriac Studies, and Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Secretary and Media Office Director, were also present.
During the meeting, His Holiness welcomed Very Rev. Fr. Paul and congratulated him on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee of his ministry in Lebanon. He appreciated his long service to the Syriac Church by composing many musical pieces which became popular in folk songs with different tunes and church hymns throughout the whole world.
