On April 10, 2024, on the occasion of the Mid Lent and the Elevation of the Cross, and the Feast of King Abgar, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at Mor Aphrem Church in Mor Aphrem Monastery in Maarat Saydnaya.
During the Holy Qurobo, His Holiness was assisted by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Yacoub Babawi, Patriarchal Vicar for Monks Affairs and the Administration of Mor Aphrem Theological Seminary in Maarat Saydnaya, Mor Maurice Amsih, Archbishop of Jazeera and Euphrates, and Mor Youhanon Lahdo, Archbishop of Sweden and Scandinavia.

During the Qurobo, His Holiness ordained Rev. Monk Dayroyo Daniel Chamoun, and Rev. Monk Dayroyo Charbel Rizk as priests. He also bestowed the pectoral cross to Rev. Fr. Saliba Er.
