On August 16, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II arrived to Toronto – Canada for an apostolic visit to the Malankara Archdiocese of Northern America.
Their Eminences: Mor Teethose Yeldho, Archbishop of the Malankara Archdiocese of Northern America, Mor Athanasius Elia Bahi, Patriarchal Vicar of Canada, and Anba Archilides, Coptic Orthodox Archbishop of Toronto and Central Canada, received His Holiness at the airport.
His Holiness was accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
