On October 14, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II met the clergy and councils of the Archdiocese of Sweden and Scandinavia and the Patriarchal Vicariate of Sweden, at Mor Yacoub Nsibinoyo Cathedral in Sodertalje.
His Holiness was accompanied by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Dioscoros Benjamin Atas, Patriarchal Vicar in Sweden, Mor Youhanon Lahdo, Archbishop of Sweden and Scandinavia, and Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary.
