On December 9, 2024, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II celebrated the Holy Qurobo at St. Athanasius Cathedral in the Patriarchal Center in Puthencruz, on the occasion of the 40 day memorial of the departure of the late lanmented Catholicos Mor Baselius Thomas I.
He was assisted by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Gregorios Joseph, Malankara Metropolitan and Metropolitan of Cochin, Mor Timotheos Thomas, Metropolitan of Kottayam, Mor Ivanios Matthew, Metropolitan of Kandanad, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, and Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, in the presence of their Eminences the Archbishops.
