On January 22, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II visited His Excellency President of Lebanon General Joseph Aoun, at Presidential Palace in Beirut.
His Holiness was accompanied by their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Gregorius Joseph, Malankara Metropolitan and Archbishop of Cochin, Mor Justinus Boulos Safar, Patriarchal Vicar of Zahleh and Beqaa, Mor Clemis Daniel Kourieh, Archbishop of Beirut, Mor Chrysostomos Mikhael Shemoun, Archbishop of Mount Lebanon and Tripoli, Mor Timotheos Matta Al-Khoury, Archbishop of Homs, Hama, Tartous and Environs, Mor Severius Roger Akhrass, Patriarchal Vicar for Syriac Studies, Mor Cyril Babi, Patriarchal Vicar and Director of the Patriarchal Benevolent Institutions in Atchaneh, Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, Mor Christophoros Markose Abraham, Patriarchal Secretary for the Affairs of the Church in India, and Mor Andrawos Bahhi, Patriarchal Vicar for Youth Affairs and Christian Education.
