On September 21, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II attended a recital, on the occasion of the 50 years anniversary of the foundation of St. Mary and St. Jacob of Nisibin Cathedral in Montreal.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Athanasius Elia Bahi, Patriarchal Vicar of Canada, and Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, also attended the recital.
