On September 27, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II met the Syriac Orthodox Youth in Toronto.
His Holiness spoke about the youth being the temples of God and the Spirit of God dwells in them so that they remain the living body of Christ.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Athanasius Elia Bahi, Patriarchal Vicar of Canada, and Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, were also present.
