On October 27, 2025, His Holiness Patriarch Mor Ignatius Aphrem II received at the Patriarchate Headquarters in Bab Touma, Damascus His Excellency Mr. Talal Daher, the Charge d’Affaires of the Lebanese Embassy in Syria, on the occasion of the end of his diplatic mission in Syria.
His Excellency thanked His Holiness for his warm welcome and remembered the various occasions in which he visited the Patriarchate and the cooperation between the Patriarchate and the embassy.
In turn, His Holiness thanked him for his role during his term in Syria and wished him a successful diplomatic mission in his next appointment.
Their Eminences Archbishops: Mor Joseph Bali, Patriarchal Assistant, and Mor Augeen Al-Khoury Nemat, Patriarchal Secretary, also attended the meeting.
